Welcome! I am a Ph.D. Candidate in political science at the University of Rochester. My research interests are in the field of comparative politics and policy-making, with a focus on East Asia and Korea. Specifically, my current research focuses on how demographic changes and crises influence politics and policy-making in South Korea. I am also working on a series of projects examining the causes and consequences of immigration policies in Japan, China, and South Korea, as well as party politics in South Korea and Western Europe.
Prior to coming to Rochester, I completed B.A. and M.A. degrees in political science at Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea.
